Educational Informatization and Digital Education Platforms

This track explores how digital technologies are reshaping teaching and learning across formal and informal settings. It brings together research on Technology-Enhanced Learning, Flipped Classrooms, and Web Classroom Applications, alongside emerging trends in BYOD, 1:1 Learning, Mobile and Tablet Technologies, and Virtual Reality and 3D Applications. Contributions addressing ICT skills, Digital Literacy, and ICT for Development are welcomed, as are studies on Intelligent Systems and UX design for education.

The track further examines Open Educational Resources, Open Access Education, Knowledge Management, Digital Libraries and Repositories, E-Portfolios, User-Generated Content, and Learning Analytics, fostering dialogue on building accessible, data-informed digital learning ecosystems.

Dr. Leah V. Barbaso

Cebu Institute of Technology-University, Philippines

Leah Velasco Barbaso is a Professor and permanent faculty member of the Information Technology Department, College of Computer Studies (CCS), at Cebu Institute of Technology – University, where she has taught since 2008, bringing nearly two decades of academic experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, which she completed Cum Laude, a Master of Science in Information Technology, and a Doctor of Management major in Human Resource Management. An active researcher, she has presented and published extensively in international conferences and Scopus/ISI-indexed journals on educational technology, learning analytics, and AI-integrated systems. She regularly serves as a Technical Committee Member for international conferences, including the International Conference on Digital Technology in Education (ICDTE), the International Conference on Education and Training Technologies (ICETT), and the International Conference on Education and E-Learning (ICEEL). A recipient of Technologian Teacher awards, she also serves as CCS Special Projects Coordinator and is an active member of professional organizations such as the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators Region 7 (PSITE-7) and the Computing Society of the Philippines.
